Tegus facilitates extremely valuable calls between our clients and experts. Given the proprietary insights in these conversations, compliance is critical to our business, and a key component of our value add. You’ll be on the front lines, ensuring our policies and procedures are correctly enforced before and after all Tegus calls.

Responsibilities

  •  Act as a self-starter within a flat, start-up environment, while working closely with a small and highly collaborative compliance team
  • Format, proofread, and screen call transcripts, redacting any customer identifiable information, and highlighting any compliance risks (including material nonpublic information or confidential information)
  • Ensure 100% of transcripts are properly anonymized, compliant, and uploaded on-time (within 10 business days of call completion)
  • Document any instances where Tegus is not properly adhering to compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain call calendar and compliance archives to ensure all calls are promptly starting on time
  • Certify that all Advisors/Experts properly complete agreements and Compliance Training before calls
  • Serve as a point person for expert related compliance questions
  • Work with third party services and outsourced personnel to collect, send, and upload documents following set procedures

Qualifications

  • Strong professional work experience as a Compliance Associate, Paralegal, or similar
  • Bachelors degree from a top university with strong academic credentials
  • Fantastic proofreading experience and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, remain highly organized, and swiftly execute within a fast–paced environment
  • Positive attitude and a drive to succeed in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment
